Diamonds are forever - development of gardens, good or bad - Jaime Blake
‘Diamonds are Forever’…People often say that Gardens must always evolve and move on. Jaime is not so sure as it can be a destructive process…leaving the unique work of one person covered over by another. He thinks that some gardens have an intrinsic value and are part of our National Heritage and History. You can’t just paint over the top of the Mona Lisa because it’s old. There are many occasions when we can look back on what someone or some people have done in the name of progress and be shocked that it was allowed to happen. This talk is Jaime's personal view and interpretation on the development of planting and gardens and what future may lie ahead for them.
